Elena, welcome! I hope you find this forum helpful to your family's bilingual journey!
We've been in touch through email so I know your family is now moving to Italy. This means Italian will become your majority language and English will be the minority language. My best advice is to provide your son with ample exposure to English on a daily basis during these early, formative years. And if your husband isn't the main caregiver, then you may need to use at least some English, too, in order to increase your son's exposure to this language while also seeking out other English speakers, and other ways, to support his English side.
I'm cheering for your family, Elena!
