I'm no expert on this (as all of our books are in English), but my nephew has some books in Spanish and my daughter has worked on some others at school.
My nephew will soon be 2 and the books I've seen he has in Spanish are: Elmer, ¿Puedo mirar tu pañal? (great for potty training), El pollo Pepe, Adivina cuánto te quiero.
My daughter, who's 3, going on 4, has worked at school on: El monstruo de colores (by Anna Llenas Serra), awesome book about understanding emotions; Mi camita (by J.S.Pinillos and Julen Rodríguez Ruiz). I love this one! The idea is to help children come to terms with sleeping by themselves. She also brought home some books, very short stories, with text only in capital letters -the ones they've been learning at school this year- about a girl named Laura: Laura y la tripita de mamá, Laura se va de compras, Laura tiene un hermanito... (by Liesbet Slegers and Miriam Lozano Sobrino).
Regarding books for babies, my childrens' favorites when babies, were always touchy-feely books. The ones I got them where the "this is not my [tiger/monster/etc...]" books, that I'd bet can be found in Spanish too.

Mayken: Holidays! Just the 3 of us, in ML country this year, but I'm planning for a lot of ml time, without any family to visit and friends to meet (our program when we're in ml country).

Amy: Caught my eldest bragging to her cousin she could speak ml2 and asked him in ml2 if they could continue playing in this language....could it be my daughter is slowly accepting the fact she's bilingual and happy to be so...??

Mayken: Not all fun after all - we were at a castle today with an amazing 3h treasure hunt, but it was all in ML. My daughter did lots of ML reading (clues), but no chance of slipping ml in.

Mayken: Welcome back, Adam! We kept the zoo running while you were away and even swept up the monkey droppings!

Adam Beck: Well done, Mayken! Many thanks! (I was afraid I would be overwhelmed by the monkey droppings.)

Ahmet: Hey Adam! Thank you very much for writing such a nice book. I've read it , took lots and lots of notes. It's full of precious information about raising a bilingual kid. It helped me a lot and still keeps me on my way. goo.gl/photos/oPyfKffApeWPB9eU
