For your daughter maybe Enid Blyton? Tons of her books are translated to Spanish, and my daughter loves them (as read-alouds). She loved Five Friends and now we are reading the Malory Towers series. Otherwise The Magic Tree House series are also translated to Spanish. Unlike my son my daughter is not so keen on the fantasy genre so the books I am reading for her are quite different than the books I read with my son. Or Roald Dahl is also translated to Spanish. You could also check titles from the Spanish book collection El barco de Vapor, serie azul (they have different colors for the different reading levels: white, blue, orange and red) and there are a lot of authors originally from Spain on the titles. In case you are on FB there is a group called "La biblioteca de los peques" with tons of recommendations on books for children any age.
Muchas gracias for all these suggestions Marta ! I will look into all of them. I joined the FB group you recommended.
I can go onto a website for all the libraries of my state and request any book at any library in my state and they will send it for me to pick up at my local library. Their search feature is kind of clunky to use, so it is hard to do a general search, but if you know exactly what you want you can search it. I searched for Barco de Vapor like you recommended, and they had four books, so I have requested them. I am also going to search some specific titles, just in case they have more that have not been tagged with the publisher's name. I searched "Barco de Vapor" here on the zoo, and found a post by Raquel from a few months ago where she listed a whole bunch of titles, so I will search those as well. Thank you both for your help!
