Just figured out that there is an audio option on Netflix. I had seen this before, but didn't investigate further until another user on here reminded me of it. Loads of shows can be watch in languages such as French, Arabic, Mandarin, German etc! But a lot give only the English option, so you need to find the shows. At the moment for French I've found the audio option on Netflix for: Peppa Pig, Animals McGranicals, Puss and Boots, Popples, Care Bear Cousins, Lego Friends and there are probably more, but I don't have time now to go through them all.
Below is my "French kids shows" list from Netflix Canada (I'm not sure if Netflix from other countries have the exact same list). A lot of the shows listed have audio in many other languages like Spanish, Portuguese, German, etc. as well:
-Animal Mechanicals, Seasons 1 & 2
-Beat Bugs, S 1 & 2
-Busytown Mysteries, S 1
-Bo on the Go, S 1
-Care Bears & Cousins, S 1 & 2
-Clifford's Puppy Days, S 1 & 2
-Clifford the Big Red Dog, S 1 & 2
-Julie's Greenroom, S 1
-Luna Petunia, S 1
-Magic Schoolbus, S 1
-My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, S 3-6
-Octonauts, S 1
-Paw Patrol, S 2
-Peg & Cat, S 1
-Peppa Pig, S 1 & 2
-Super Why, S 1
-The Furchester Hotel, S 1 & 2
Please note that the above may be subject to change. Occasionally, some of the shows are taken off Netflix, or other ones added. I'm sure the audio options change too.
Thank you so much! I wish Netflix had the option where you could do a search based on audio! I think it is different depending on the country, as someone said Cailou on Netflix had a French option, but where I am in the UK, it didn't. And I just checked Paw Patrol and it does not offer French for some reason in the UK. However, Peppa Pig, Popples, Lego Friends, Care Bears and more has the French audio. I will check more on your list to see if they have a French option. I can't believe I only just figured this out!
Netflix is a monthly paid streaming movie/TV subscription service, and is available internationally. We use our PS4 to access it. Sorry, that is probably a bad explanation, but perhaps Google can explain better, and give more details.
Well I have just registered for the first free month....
I don't really know how much and how many times I will have to write: THANK YOU! That service is amazing! It has dozens of movies. I can set English soundtrack and English subtitles for probably 95% movies (kids movies included!) There are movies that my Lucy loves to watch. UNBELIEVABLE.
I'm glad that you discovered Netflix, Wojtek. It's great! I was so happy when they started streaming online! It used to be a DVD delivering service, which was great, but obviously streaming is way better. We use it every day! And even better now that I found out I can change the audio for language. It's amazing. I only wish there was a search button that enabled you to find the French audio or Spanish etc. I will try to request it!
BTW Amazon Prime also enables you to watch loads of movies and TV shows. But I think Netflix is better and Amazon doesn't seem to have a language option. At least I haven't found it!
Thank you guys for this great thread and information! I just signed up for the free month and am delighted to find all these ml2 cartoons and even programmes for us grown-ups (useful to create a ml2 environment at home).
The only thing I am disappointed with is that Netflix France only offers Latino-Spanish audio option when we need Spanish audio option (not same vocabulary, idioms and accents/pronunciations). We'll have to continue to rely on YouTube for the Spanish material.
Do you know if there is a way to program various cartoons in a row like you can do on YouTube (playlist)?

Mayken: My 7-year-old, her ML dad and a ml family are going to the Christmas market at a ml school today - and I can't go with them! (Hope that ML dad's presence doesn't stop the kids from speaking ml together.)

Amy: I'm sure the language balance is heavily in favour of the ml. Don't you worry Mayken. And it's also good that your daughter sees that the ml exists beyond the Mummy sphere. It will give more weight to the ml to hear from another sphere.

Mayken: In the end, it was my daughter with ML dad and the other girl with ML mom (but who's fluent in ml). The other girl got tired of ml after a while but my girl chatted with people in ml and bought ml books and a snack, all in ml!

Amy: Not so bad after all then, Mayken

Mayken: Not bad at all, I just regret I wasn't there with them.

Mayken: My daughter wrote her letter to Santa in the ml this weekend, and we'll send it to Santa's address in the ml country, that way she'll get an ml letter back from him! Last item on her wishlist reads "The second Harry Potter book, and more books."
