I have just made an agreement with another mom to do a book swap. Our daughters attend bilingual school together and her daughter is French, speaking only French at the moment. They have loads of French books, where we have tons of English. So I suggested a weekly book swap. She loved the idea so we have agreed to swap 7 books a week. We own a lot of French books, but not nearly as many as English, so thought this is a great idea to save money. If anyone knows others who might swap books with you this could help. Even if you are both looking for say Spanish books, you could swap at least the books you have. Even if it's just one book a week, at least it's one book a week.

Wojtek: Yesterday my daughter used a Polish word in an English sentence. From time to time she does it (don't know if I should be happy about that), but anyway what was amusing about that, she said it with an English accent!

Wojtek: I feel the English accent in our monolingual family has seemed to be something unreachable but in that mixed sentence, I heard the difference. It surprised me slightly.
