This is my girl as Tom Turkey for her Thanksgiving skit presented to her French classmates (see the pilgrim next to her?). With Thanksgiving around the corner, I thought this photo is a fun reminder of what we can be thankful for: love and friendship.
Happy Thanksgiving from France in advance!
ps: with the pillow tied to the back instead of the front, we have the Hunchback of the Notre Dame of Paris...voila our Halloween costume for next year done! Xoxo
I wish Thanksgiving was celebrated in Japan...but it passes us by without so much as a gobble.
Still, love and friendship to all!

I was so caught up in it, I foolishly forgot to film it! It is a fun thing the Americans cobble together to explain Thanksgiving to the French...next Thursday we will bring pumpkin and pecan pies to offer to the French school...in the interests of opening horizons via the stomach! Xoxo
SheilaC: I am concern about our upcoming big change to Public school with all English teaching and minimal Spanish. We have been lucky until now with Spanish speaking Nanny and Spanish immersion preschool. We are doing 2-day per week with Spanish after school.

Amy: @sheilac, I suggest you create an actual thread on the "Questions & Concerns" board, so fellow Zoo Keepers can help you with your concerns. 256 characters is too little to discuss something that is so important to your heart

Mayken: Adam Beck, thanks for that very interesting and timely post - it justifies the large order for ml books and DVDs I'm about to place in view of my daughters upcoming birthday!

Adam Beck: Great to hear this, Mayken! And happy birthday to both yours and mine! (They have the same birthday, don't they?) And if anyone missed that post, here's the link once more...

Mayken: It's our last night in Canada. We've said goodbye to our English-speaking and bilingual English/French friends but we have lots of memories and souvenirs. Let's see how I can keep up the momentum back home.
