This quote by Alice Bloch is one of my recent favorites, a helpful reminder to make the best use of my days.
Your challenge this time is simple: Make a list of quotes that will inspire your attention and action as you pursue your bilingual quest. Then make a habit of reflecting on these thoughts, perhaps even posting them in strategic spots around your home.
To help get you started, I have a number of posts at my blog which feature inspiring quotes...
You can also get my eBook Instant Inspiration for Parents Raising Bilingual Kids, with 636 motivating quotes, for free (or for a contribution of your choice to help support Bilingual Monkeys and The Bilingual Zoo). Click here for more information.
When you have some quotes that speak to you, please share a few favorites by adding to this thread.
Let me leave you with one more important thought...

Mayken: My daughter's ML report card has the same percentage of A's as the ml one but surprisingly the non-A's are not in the same categories. Anyway, she's off to grade 2 at the bilingual school! (After well-deserved and ml-rich holidays!)

Wojtek: Being all day with daughter makes really difference! She spoke definitely more and I had more chance to correct her, suggest better phrases, etc. That was great!

Mayken: Wojtek, a lot of one-on-one time is one of the perks of holidays, no matter where.
