Just wanted to mention that there is a facebook group called Playdate Network France...great idea to become a member and put yourself on the members map. Unfortunately there is only one other member on the map in my area, but most other areas have lots of people. It's just an informal group and way to organise playdates in your area...albeit probably in English, but Mayken you might be able to find German speakers...
English speaking Canadian Mom, French speaking Dad, happily transitioning to minority language at home (English) with our baby daughter in France.
Thanks Joanna, I'll check it out. Though I do hope that with the bilingual school starting in September, my daughter will make friends among the German kids there (we've already met 2 at the open door day and have known a third one for years).
I live in Seine et Marne near Disneyland and I'm trying to make my boy (he's 1 year old) bilingual in French-English. I'm a French native-speaker and I would like to meet some native-English mums if there are any? Or maybe just talking via Skype?
Wojtek: Mayken: Thanks! That kindergarten is far better then the last one. And we all love it. English has time frames everyday. It is not like they communicate with children in English throughout the day but it's the best place in our region.

Wojtek: 1st week's gone. Tonight when we sat in the dim light just before getting to bed she sang the song for me she learnt in her new place. It was like: "I love my daddy. Here's a kiss and a hug for you. Thank you daddy for all you do". I wept...

Mayken: My daughter brought her ml workbook home recently, and that inspired me to create my own worksheets for her. I posted them on my blog: http://www.cow-pla.net/wordpress/tag/work-sheets (Don't be too harsh on my drawing skills, please. )

Nellie: My daughter has started asking (in ML/Spanish) for me to sing her songs in ml2 (English)! Several times today and yesterday she asked for "la canción en inglés", while just a month ago she would scream if I did so! This seems like progress!
